Without a doubt one of the sexiest movies of the past years. Atomic Blonde has a very distinctive way of getting you into the groove. It's not only the figure of Charlize Theron and her semi-nude scenes but is the atmosphere of Berlin during the late 80s. There is a hand in this movie that touches you with a silk glove and transports you to the time and place. Together with the dozens cigarettes smoked and the uncountable drinks that the female protagonist drinks, is this air, this perfume of Berlin. The perfume of one of the most charming cities in Europe. And the film makes it and you breath that air. You think that you are there in west and east Berlin some little time before the wall falls. There are some movies that offer much more than the action and the suspense. They offer a side, a glimpse, a smell. They offer a thing that is difficult to be explained in plain words but it seems like diving into a big pool and then been transported into an underwater castle. That surprise, that feeling, that thing that you get when someone is giving much more than the image of it, is when a movie has gotten into you.
