True Romance (Tony Scott, 1993)

This is definitely one of the coolest films that you can find out there. It's flavour and taste are something that makes you want to devour the whole movie as you watch it. One of the most charming leading couples that we have seen in a movie, one of Patricia Arquette's greatest performances with a style and a attitude that makes you fall in love with her immediately and a movie that blends love story with a typical crime film making the experiment a true bliss for the in love with the eccentric, spectator. True Romance is filled with pop culture references from Elvis Presley till kung fu movies and it is and stays a movie that shows love for the media of cinema, shows love for stories, shows love for its leading couple, shows love for dirty, sweaty, crime film tales. True Romance is one of the movies that are "doomed" to become legendary, to become a certain type of cult phenomenon that exceeds words like "great" and "brilliant", True Romance is a way of life, is an attitude towards living, is an exemplary crime movie and it is most of all a movie that you take with you, a movie that you put near your heart, a movie that you love to watch again and again without ever getting bored of it, because it is a movie that spoke to your most intimate feelings. A true masterpiece of romance that bewitches the spectator with its fragile and loving as it is violent and dirty character. A movie to seat near your soul and make it shine.
